Division of Teleinformatics (DTI)

Despite the fact that AŽD Praha has been always directing its largest efforts into the field of railway signalling systems, it has been involved in other sectors of activities as well. One of them is telecommunications mainly for the railway transportation applications. Division Teleinformatics was established on January 1, 2004 from the previous Installation Plant Prague. Owing to the specifics of the sectors of telecommunications and informatics, it was necessary to set up a single organisational unit covering the vast a rapidly developping area of AŽD Praha production.

Main business activities

Division Teleinformatics provides engineering, commercial and realisation solutions in the field of modern information and communication technologies. The activities of the division can be divided into three main domains – signalling equipment, communications and complete solutions for Czech Railways. Besides these main activities DTI carries out installations of metallic and optical-fibre cables, installations of level crossing and station interlocking systems,  PA systems, electrical safety signalisation, electrical fire protection signalisation, structured cabling and telephone exchanges.

The division´s activities also include complete laying of metallic and optical-fibre cables, installation of radio systems, geodetic works, earth works, engineering services for investment projects and elaboration of revision reports and juridical person protocols.
