- a signal device with a continuously light up red light
- used for marking construction sites that could pose as an obstruction to flight traffic (chimneys, posts, etc.)
- we have two types the 94006a and the 94006b
- is in compliance with ICAO and FAA standards
- neon tubes are used as a light source
- rated power input 75 VA (94006a) and 140 VA (94006b)
- supplied by 230 V/50 Hz
- simple shape enabling easy installation and de-installation of the signal device or its part
Basic technical description
- the signal device contains an optical unit and a base
- the bottom part of the signal device is equipped with a protective M5 grounding clamp
- the optical unit has clear lenses from Simax molten glass, neon tube and a connector
- the base is equipped with a transformer, safety switch and connection terminal strip
- the safety switch is used for disconnection the unit from the mains when changing tubes
- the transformer supplies such voltage sufficient for launching the neon tubes
- a standard holder for fixation is part of the unit
