ABE-1 Electronic automatic block system
General description
- fully electronic centralized line signaling device
- used for controlling train rides on lines with random traction systems
- the system can also control train rides within short section between stations without block section signals
- ensures the function of a line consent, control of automatic block section signals
- an additional function is the secure transmission of information
Basic technical description
- safe and reliable system complying with SIL4 requirements
- in every line track it can control in both directions up to 14 signal devices in every direction
- a system with a X21 interface is used for communication between stations
- these following replaceable units form the system CENJ-1, EDOS-1, EDOK-1, EDON-1, EDOR-1, KOMJ-1 a KOMJ-2
- guaranteed system lifetime is 25 years
