ATO ACBM3 Automatic train operation
General description
- a subsystem used for the automatization of train operations under the supervision of the engine driver
- used for the increase in automatization during train operation
- the result is a fluent ride, minimum deviations from time tables, minimum consumption of traction energy, etc
- control over doors, outside lights and the information systems belong to its other functions
- high reliability
- works in the LZA (ATC) system
Basic technical description
- contains a mobile and stationary part
- both parts co-operate via a transmission data cable line-vehicle
- uses the Route map system, i.e. a line map thanks to which the system gains information
- the engine driver can whenever needed alter the operation
- the subsystem provides function that are remote controlled by a dispatcher (train going through station, train stand-still)
- the function non-active turn (the train drives onto the turning track alone without the presents of the engine driver
- uses own on-board data (track maps and time tables)
- identification of immediate train position on track via information points
