ATO ACBM3 Automatic train operation

General description

  • a subsystem used for the automatization of train operations under the supervision of the engine driver
  • used for the increase in automatization during train operation
  • the result is a fluent ride, minimum deviations from time tables, minimum consumption of traction energy, etc
  • control over doors, outside lights and the information systems belong to its other functions
  • high reliability
  • works in the LZA (ATC) system

Basic technical description

  • contains a mobile and stationary part
  • both parts co-operate via a transmission data cable line-vehicle
  • uses the Route map system, i.e. a line map thanks to which the system gains information
  • the engine driver can whenever needed alter the operation
  • the subsystem provides function that are remote controlled by a dispatcher (train going through station, train stand-still)
  • the function non-active turn (the train drives onto the turning track alone without the presents of the engine driver
  • uses own on-board data (track maps and time tables)
  • identification of immediate train position on track via information points

Compatibility

  • metro systems
  • LZA
