ATP SOP-2P Automatic train protection
General description
- a subsystem for securing the safe operation of metro trains
- used for the limiting of train speed in dependence on the operational situations and the reactions of the engine driver
- the speed limitation is carried out upon information received from:
- train location on line
- state of signal devices
- points state
- pressure seals
- continuous speed limits on individual line sections
- state of buttons of the emergency stop
- high reliability
- works within the LZA (ATC) system
Basic technical description
- the SOP-2P contains a stationary and mobile part
- the stationary part ensures the transmission of information into the mobile part an the automatic system checks
- formed by a set of station computers and mobile devices (transmission loops)
- the computers are located in the interlocking room and the mobile devices in the railyard
- the mobile part ensures the receiving of information, their assessment and the creation of relevant commands
- one trains set is equipped with two sets of this device
- they can be set to any of the five working modes chosen by the engine driver
Compatibility
- various types of interlocking and signaling systems
- ACBM3
