Track circuits
General description
- the KO-3103 are circuits for the detection of the track occupancy
- the KO-4300 are circuits for the forked sections on points and for direct track sections
- minimum range of impedance bonds
- minimum outside equipment of track circuits
- detection of rail track integrity
- choice of signal frequency - 75 Hz or 275 Hz
Basic technical description
KO-3103 track circuits
- used for electrified tracks and for tracks with independent traction with electrically heated passenger coaches
- supplied by a bi-phase voltage 2 x 230 V, 75 Hz with a 90° phase shift
KO-4300 track circuits
- used for electrified tracks and for tracks with independent traction and with electrically heated passenger coaches
- supplied by a bi-phase voltage 2 x 230 V, 275 Hz with a 90° phase shift
- both KOs use DT-0,75 impedance bonds and a so called receiver part
- the KO-3103 and the KO-4300 use a DSŠ-12 P relay or a set of TCR track receivers (see KOA1) as a receiver part
Compatibility
- interlocking systems and signaling systems, LVZ
