General description
- a mobile system used for recognizing number plates and recording motor vehicles
- can detect number plates of vehicles standing on a park place lengthwise and sideways
- can also detect vehicles traveling on roads up to speeds of 200 km/h

Basic technical description
- the system contains a CCD camera and a portable computer
- the portable computer is used for evaluating the video in real time
- the following information is saved into the database for all detected cars: date, place (auxiliary accessory – GPS module), time, recognized number plate and a picture of the vehicle
- the acquired data are automatically compared with the database of stolen vehicle or with another relevant database
- when data match the system will list the information about the vehicle on the display and warn the operating personnel with a red table “Searched” or with a acoustic warning signal
- the program enables to make a photograph or video sequence whenever needed
- an advantage is the easy installation of the system into the vehicle without any mechanical adjustments to the vehicle
