Basic technical description
- the signal device of the Mondial type with a diameter of 210 or 300 mm (can also be 100 mm with cyclist symbols) are produced and used in compliance with the rules for operation on roads and with the consent of the Ministry of transportation CZ.
- standard light source solutions with bulbs can be replaced with modern and energy efficient LED technologies
- choice of installing color filters with specifically formed light beams, anti-phantom filter and contrast frames
- polycarbonate design without need for maintenance
- the induction loops for detecting vehicles passing by contain a 10mm diameter conductor which is led in a depth of 150mm under the road surface and a loop impedance transformer
- microwave detectors are a suitable replacement of induction loops mainly for places were it is not possible to lead a cable under the road; they are also suitable for detecting pedestrian movement
- pedestrian buttons are a way how pedestrians can give the controller a command to switch on the green signal light for the pedestrian crossing
- an acoustic signal accompanies the pedestrian button for informing blind pedestrians
- the posts are bearing construction used for attaching signal devices, signs and post clamps
