Basic technical description
- all detectors are placed in the road walk-through portal in relevant technical conditions of the RSD
- an exception or the speed measuring sensors which are embedded into the road surface
- the assessment units, database servers and communication devices are located in a box max. 110 meters from the portal
- some of the basic system functions are e.g. immediate speed measuring, measuring section speed, vehicle classification, dynamic scaling etc.
- other function are real temperature measurement, air humidity, ground-ice, speed and direction of airflow
- the actual camera picture can be zoomed up to 27 times
- the acquired data are transmitted to the monitoring and assessing centre
