General description

device for the communication of unattended halts and stations
used for announcements launched by single, group and general DTMF tones from the SUT (subscriber box) up to 98 VD
stations or halts are connected with a pair of line or trunk cables
for covering losses on greater distances a transmission system can be used

performance enables local announcements via AUT function of telephone devices
remote measuring of loss

the SUT contains a sheetmetal box with a vertical desktop containing electronics
a same box is part of the VD, contains a high-level amplifier, 24 V DC power supply, check circuit, auxiliary relay and circuit breaker
the SUT and VD are controlled via a connected automatic telephone device
it can also be controlled by a relevant instruction pack of a connected telephone switch panel
after picking up the microphone and entering a three-digit number the operating personnel will hear a tone in the speaker
after receiving this tone "preparation for announcement" the operating personnel makes the announcement and hangs up
big vaultable loss of 20 dB without amplifying
