- device for the communication of unattended halts and stations
- used for announcements launched by single, group and general DTMF tones from the SUT (subscriber box) up to 98 VD
- stations or halts are connected with a pair of line or trunk cables
- for covering losses on greater distances a transmission system can be used
- device function check before announcement is made
- performance enables local announcements via AUT function of telephone devices
- remote measuring of loss
Basic technical description
- the SUT contains a sheetmetal box with a vertical desktop containing electronics
- a same box is part of the VD, contains a high-level amplifier, 24 V DC power supply, check circuit, auxiliary relay and circuit breaker
- the SUT and VD are controlled via a connected automatic telephone device
- it can also be controlled by a relevant instruction pack of a connected telephone switch panel
- after picking up the microphone and entering a three-digit number the operating personnel will hear a tone in the speaker
- after receiving this tone "preparation for announcement" the operating personnel makes the announcement and hangs up
- big vaultable loss of 20 dB without amplifying
